Our first day of shooting: Inland Sponsors' demonstration in Ottawa

Yesterday was our first day of shooting. We went to the CIC headquarter in Ottawa, where around 40 applicants of the Inland Spousal Sponsorship category gathered to raise their concerns about the increasing processing times in this category and the lack of information around it.

From 11:30 till 2 pm, they handed flyers to passersby and let them know about their situation, which remained unknown for most Canadians not involved in the process until the most recent media coverage about it shed some light.

MP for Pierrefonds- Dollard, Lysane Blanchette- Lamothe, Critic of Citizenship and Immigration Canada, and MP for Ottawa Centre, Paul Dewar, Critic for Foreign Affairs, joined the demonstration and heard some of the questions and concern this group has.
